YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS

A mind-bending journey into the world of memory
Featuring the voice of Paul Giamatti

Flash
7.86 mb

“There’s something that you can’t quite put your finger on. But it’s going on and
it’s connecting.  And it’s making things happen. Memory makes it all happen.
Without it, what have we got?”

YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS charts the fun and bizarre subculture of "memory athletes" as they prepare for and ultimately -- in a dramatic climax -- compete in the USA Memory Championship.  Past winners have not only taken home the crown, they have also signed lucrative book deals, one well in excess of  $1,000,000.

The film takes viewers on a cinematic journey into the mind's eye. For the competition, and all of the practice and preparation that goes before it, playful animation by Gary Leib ("American Splendor") will illuminate elaborate mnemonic techniques. Fluid, shape-shifting animation -- brought vividly to life with the voice of award-winning actor Paul Giamatti -- gives us a window into the contestants' process, and by extension, their minds.

Currently in post-production, the film has an expected completion date of 2011.

Coming home is half the battle

Flash

To date, tens of thousands of American troops have been wounded in the war in Iraq. What happens when they come home?

HOME FRONT captures the story of these soldiers and their families, told intimately through the Feldbusch family of western Pennsylvania and their wounded son, Jeremy. The result is an unprecedented and insightful view of how one American family copes with events that have forever changed them.  A heartbreaking and inspiring true story, HOME FRONT gets behind the often-sanitized myth of war to reveal its true human cost.
